We are currently looking for a Senior Marketing Manager with a strong track record in downstream marketing, and customer knowledge in the consumer diabetes market to join our team in our Excelsior, MN office. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, perform advanced-level duties to vision, create and execute programs to promote product awareness and sales for the consumer diabetes market. Specific efforts include:
- Lead the planning and execution for the B2B retail, wholesale and affiliated segment marketing strategy while collaborating with the sales team and account contacts to develop a deep understanding of the business segments and strategies.
- Engage with customers by planning for and participating in marketing events such as seminars, tradeshows, workshops and field visits.
- Leverage customer and market knowledge to develop positioning, messaging, content, promotional tactics / programs to drive demand and meet annual business plans.
- Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and key customer groups.
- Develop tools that support the selling process and increase sales force effectiveness.
- Collaborate with diverse groups of partners, including but not limited to: Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Creative Agencies.
- Lead the creation of product marketing collateral, including packaging, brochures, animations, illustrations, sell sheets, adverts, etc.
- Negotiate, secure and traffic advertising materials to wholesale and national advertising media outlets.
- Strong analytical skills. Able to synthesize information and formulate synopses, identify issues, turn insights into actions, and propose solutions.
- Track, analyze and inform teams of all key customer key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales performance and return on investment (ROI) relating to the marketing tactics.
- Utilize strong project management skills in managing various work streams and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree required. Business or healthcare major preferred.
- MBA degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of demonstrated strong and successful experience in marketing. Specific market segment/channel experience strongly desired.
- Proven ability to build and develop sales and customer relationships including the ability to effectively represent UltiMed and its products to all levels of customers and key thought leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to employ strong strategic planning, presentation, communication, organization, analytic and project management skills.
- Self-motivation with the ability to perform at a high level of autonomy.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other to achieve goals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint
- Proficient in the use of internet search engines and web-based tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
- Must have the ability to see, hear and navigate safely in an office environment as well as in travel-related venues.
- The employee is also required to interact with a computer and other office equipment to communicate with customers, vendors and co-workers.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds to assemble product samples for customers on a occasional basis.
